Obituary of Michael John Jeffries

Age 65, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly on Monday morning, April 7, 2014 at home, with his loving wife at his side. He was the son of the late Lillian (Purcell) Jeffries. Mike was in the construction industry, working with heavy machinery for decades. He loved and took pride in the work that he did. He loved spending his spare time on the lake at the cottage and riding his Harley. He enjoyed meeting new friends and getting out to all the biker events. You will be forever missed and never forgotten. Mike is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, James (Becky) and Justin; grandchildren, Jacob and Jase, who brought a lot of joy and laughter to his life. He is also survived by brothers, Tom and Fred; sister, Susan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, (477-5601). In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2PM from the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception.
