Obituary of Carl Peter Johnston

77, Halifax, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Sydney, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Steele) Johnston. Carl worked for many years in Management and Development at Air Canada in Montreal. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by sons, Bruce and Keith Johnston, both of Toronto; daughters Laura and Marina Johnston, of Toronto, and Angela Varcasia, New York; 7 grandchildren; brother, Cyril (Mary), Halifax; brother in-law, Phillip Harbord, Toronto; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Johnny and sister, Mary. In keeping with Carl’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
