Obituary of Kenneth Wayne Slaunwhite

67, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16, 2014 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Reginald "Reg" and Jenny Slaunwhite. Kenny is survived by his children, Lisa and Ricky; companion, Maureen; brothers, John, Gary, Joe (Nina), Jerry (Carol); sisters, Jeanette, Esther (Gerald); many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Kenny; brothers, William "Dick" and Manny; sisters, Marcella and Mary. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 11AM, followed by a reception. Interment will take place in Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery, Terence Bay. Donations in Kenny’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Centre of Hope, 2044 Gottingen Street, Halifax.
