Obituary of Earl Thomas Richard

61, Spryfield, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at home. Earl was an avid football fan, watching and cheering on whenever it was on. He also enjoyed playing cards and watching Coronation Street. He worked at the Halifax Delta for seven years in the Housekeeping Department. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Earl is survived by brothers, Ralph (Sue Ann) Ballard, Ronnie (Donna) Richard and Ronnie (Marg) Richard; sister, Jeanette (Bob) Downing; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, William and Tossie Richard; brother, Dennie Richard; sisters, Clara Ballard and Shirley Richard. Arrangements are under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601), where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11AM from the funeral home chapel, Rev. Carson Baxter officiating; reception to follow. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Earl’s memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
