Obituary of John Melanson

Age 86, passed away December 7, 2014 in Arborstone enhanced care. Born in Halifax, he was the son a the late Wilfred and Kathleen (Murphy) Melanson. John was a member of St. Joseph and St.StephenChurches. John was a gentle and kind man who enjoyed skating and walking. John was retired from Easter Drug Ltd. He is survived by his sisters Doris McCartney and Margaret (Bob) Briggs; brother Charles (Louise). John was predeceased by brothers Wilfred and Lawrence; sister Mary (Jim) Cookson. Special thanks to Dr. Robert Brown for his kindness to John. No visitation by request. Funeral mass will take place on Friday December 12 at 11am from Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish (St. Stephens). Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
