Obituary of Heather Marie Vallis (Schnare)

Age 53, Halifax, passed away suddenly at home on December 11, 2014. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Slaunwhite) Schnare. Heather had worked with Northwood Care for 36 years. She is survived by her husband, Ross; daughters, Holly (Scott); Melissa (Jason); sisters, Debbie Majcan; Gail Schnare; brothers, Donnie (Fran); Barry (Lisa); Kevin (Shelley), all of Halifax; grandchildren, Cody, Riley, Myles and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gary Schnare. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held on Monday December 15, from 12-2pm, followed by a service of remembrance at 2p.m. in the chapel. Reverend Gordon Relf officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
