Obituary of Kim Cecilia Irving

Age 58, Halifax, peacefully passed away on February 12, 2015. Born in Truro on January 7th, 1957, she was a daughter of  the late Granville and Audrey (MacDonald) Irving. She will always be remembered for her sarcastic wit and sense of humor. Kim is survived by her daughter, Michelle Gillie (Matthew Cluett); granddaughter, Samantha; brother, Bill (Linda) Irving; sister, Charlene (Jim) Morrison; several cousins, nieces, a nephew and her partner of 20 years, Robert Murphy. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a celebration of Kim's life will be held on February, 18 from 5-7 pm. A family burial will take place at the Robie St. Cemetery, Truro in the spring. The family is requesting no flowers and in return a donation be made to the QEII Foundation, Palliative Care Unit. Kim's family would like to thank the staff of 8.1 of the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, the staff of 6A as well the Physio and Palliative team at the Victoria General Hospital.
