Obituary of Robert J. Slaunwhite

75, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2015 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late, Milton and Doris Slaunwhite. Robert is survived by his children, Bobby (Michelle), Ann (Mike) Newton and Angela (Richard) Brown; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother, Mickey MacDonald. He was predeceased by brother, Wayne; sister, Marie Schnare. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, February 19 at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
