Obituary of Irene Josephine Hunter

77 of Halifax, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, April 2, 2015. She will be greatly missed by her 7 children, Cindy (Gary), Halifax, Patrick (Michelle), Russell, Ont., Tom (Michelle), Jill (Jim) both of Halifax, Jodi (Mark), Athabasca, AB, Barb (Mike) Halifax and Shelley (Matthew) London, Ont.; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Raymond, Ronnie and Roberta. She was predeceased by her husband, John James Hunter, the love of her life whom she met while serving in the Royal Canadian Navy and infant daughter, Debra Ann.  In keeping with Irene's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
