Obituary of Gloria Jean Mullins

Age 75, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2015 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary with her daughters by her side. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Everit and Marjorie (Hadden) Mossman. Gloria worked at many jobs throughout her life but was most happy when she was at home with her family. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed by her daughters Tracey Moore, Tantallon and Lysa Marryatt, Halifax; grandchildren Chelsea Moore, Dylan Moore,  Brittany Thompson, Daniel Mullins, Mark Mullins; great-grandchildren Kimberley Eakins-Mullins and Silas Thompson as well as nieces Cathy Lockhart-Meisner, Donna Lockhart, and nephew Bob Lockhart; sisters-in-law Cathy Hood and Vernie Mullins; brother-in-law Jack (Mary) Mullins. Family meant everything to Gloria and she always loved hearing about their lives and adventures. She was predeceased by her parents, parents-in-law Nan and Hart Mullins, former husband Tom, son Stephen, sister Carol and brother Wayne. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. At Gloria’s request there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home on Saturday, May 23 at 2 pm. Reception to follow. Burial will follow at St. George’s Cemetery in East River, Lunenburg County NS.
