Obituary of Ellienne Angle

Angle, Ellienne Theresa:  82, Halifax, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015, quietly at home.  Born August 17, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Irene and Bertram Keizer of Round Hill, NS.  In 1949, Ellienne met and married Walter Howard Angle of Fenwick, ON, They shared 59 years together and had nine children.  Mom’s greatest passion was her cooking, and over the years she loved nothing better than answering and solving your cooking dilemmas.  She could taste and tell you exactly what was missing and what you had too much of in any food we prepared.  We will remember Mom for her love of cooking, gardening, sewing, and for her very unique and wicked sense of humour.   Ellienne is survived by one brother, Bernard Keizer (Theresa), Sackville, her children, Susan Sarty, Halifax, Wayne Angle, Halifax, Denise Angle, Whittenburg, Dayna Angle, PEI, Terrance Angle, Vancouver, Sharon Angle, Windsor, Steven Angle (Bernadette), Dartmouth, and Lynn Meyers (Darrell), Halifax, as well as 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Ellienne was predeceased by her loving husband, Howard, and one son, Kevin, her sisters, Pauline and May, her brothers, Terrance and Francis. We know Mom and Dad are together again happy and healthier than ever.             Arrangements are under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (902.477.5601), where a private family visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 7:30-9 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Blessed Mother Theresa Catholic Church, 6032 Normandy Drive, Halifax, NS on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2PM.  Family flowers only, in lieu, donations in memory of Ellienne may be made to the SPCA.  Words of comfort and condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
