Obituary of Robert Bruce Manson

  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Bruce Manson, on June 5, 2015 at age 77. Born in Toronto, Ontario, he was a son of the late Robert John Manson and Ellen (Ellen (Atkinson) Manson. Bruce retired from the Royal Canadian Navy after 31 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Thelma-Fougere) Manson; children Michael (Sherry) Campbell; Bernadine (Conrad) Young; Adrian Campbell; Bruce Manson and Paul (donna) Manson; brother Jim Manson; 11 grand children; 13 great grand children and several nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his parents; sisters June and Carol as well as grand daughter Miranda. There will be no service as per Bruce’s request. Donations can be made in Bruce’s name to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society. Then family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of 6B at the Victoria General Hospital for their outstanding care.
