Obituary of Elizabeth S. "Betty" Nicholas

71, Bedford, passed away on June 8, 2015 in the VG site, QEII. Born in Halifax on April 21, 1944, she was a daughter of the late James and Winnifred (White) Stone. Betty worked at a number of secretarial positions, and retired from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1995. Betty was a very kind and caring person, always putting others before herself. She enjoyed meeting people, gardening, camping and travelling. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Gerald; step-sons Darryl and Shawn; step-grandchildren, Alex and Xavier; numerous cousins and good friends. She was predeceased by sister, Clara in infancy. In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 11 AM in Oakridge Memory Gardens.
