Obituary of Constance Ann "Connie" Jones

Passed peacefully and surrounded by family on June 15, 2015 at the age of 78. She was a daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Squires) Thomander and is survived by her sister Corrine Gallo and three brothers Donnie, Carl and Kevin Thomander. A true matriarch, Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her quick wit and kind disposition made an impression on everyone that crossed her path. She is predeceased by her first husband Guy Jones and survived by her second husband of forty-eight years David LeBrasceur. She is also survived by her four children; Keith Jones, Karen (Russ) Wood, Kim Jones and Mike Edgar, as well as her three grandchildren; Allison Wood, Colin Wood and Courtney (Aaron) Spencer, and great-grandson Benjamin Spencer. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a memorial service will be held on June 19 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
