Obituary of Gary G. Kidston

KIDSTON, Gary Gordon: 61, Halifax, passed away at home on July 22, 2015.  Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Gordon and Evelyn (Taylor) Kidston.  Gary worked for his father at Kidston Glass, Halifax Transit, Stock Transportation, and as a PCW for Comcare and RJF Healthcare.  Gary loved music, the outdoors, camping, hiking, and especially fishing.  He loved having Sunday and Monday prayer nights, attending church,  and the fellowship of Christian friends.  Gary is survived by his wife, Trena (Hayden), his children, Amy and Nathan, both of Alberta, his step-children, Tracey Millen, British Columbia, and Andrew Hayden, Halifax, his sister, Sandra (Elliott Richman), and his brother, Paul (Angela), 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren, as well as 4 nephews, a great-nephew, and a great-niece.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Naomi.  Services for Gary will be held at the Open Door Community Church, 11 Aldergrove Drive, Halifax, NS, where visitation will take place from 1-2 PM, followed by a service beginning at 2 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2015, with Darrell Jarvis officiating.  Refreshments will follow the service.  Interment will take place at a later date.  In memory of Gary, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
