Obituary of Ilse "Lisa" Maria Iwer (Westenfelder)

Halifax passed away July 28, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born April 25, 1929 in Karlsruhe, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Lina (Burghardt) Westenfelder. She is survived by her husband, Walter; chosen daughter, Evelyn Tanner (John); their children, Rory (Jennifer), Arlyn Dwyer (Scott); April; great grandchildren Samuel and Roman, all of Ontario; brother, Adolf (Birgit); nephews, Rudiger, Karstan (Sandra), Dr, Peter Westenfelder (Christine) and grand nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Christian, Kimberly, Julia and Eva. She was predeceased by sister, Johanna and brother-in-law Dieter Borchers Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a funeral service will be held Friday July 31 at 10 a.m., Wayne Hutchison officiating, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to  the Canadian Cancer Society. Interment to take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Lower Sackville.
