Obituary of Marina Helen Horrocks (Gore)

Age 77, Mahone Bay, formerly of Waverley, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2015 in Mahone Bay Nursing Home. Born in Montreal, Que, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Helen (Dobuck) Gore. Marina is survived by her loving husband Ronald; sons, Terry (Rhonda), Waverley; Geoffrey (Trish), BC; daughters, Cheryl-Ann, Waverley; Jennifer McConville (Bruce), Ottawa, Ont.; brother Gordie (Scottie), Yarmouth; grandchildren, Corey, Kyle, Victoria, Madison, Jean-Michel, Allie, Nicholas, Emma and Darby; step grandchildren, Dawson and Nyall. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held Tuesday August 4 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday August 5 at 10 a.m. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Purcell’s Cove Rd., Father Jim McCorriston officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
