Obituary of Harvey Hill

HILL, Harvey – Halifax, passed away peacefully in hospital on September 3, 2015.   He was the son of the late Herbert and Emily (Taylor) Hill.   Harvey was a man who overcame health obstacles from a young age; a person with a zest for life, love of nature, family and friends.  He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting and outdoor living.  Loved by all missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Garnhum); sons, Peter (Cathy) and Phillip (Deanna); grandchildren Devan, Carter, Vanessa and Brittany; many great grandchildren;  sisters, Mary, Gertie, Diane and Betty; brothers, Gordie, Roy, George, and Ernie; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Herb and sister, Donna.   Cremation has taken place.  Please join the family in a celebration of Harvey’s life at the Purcell’s Cove Social Club, 505 Purcell’s Cove Rd., Halifax, on Thursday, September 10th at 2pm.
