Obituary of Melvin Corbett Slaunwhite

Age 85, of Terence Bay, passed away peacefully in Arborstone Enhanced Care on September 13, 2015. Born in Terence Bay on July 25, 1930, he was a son of the late Corbett and Peerless Slaunwhite. Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lottie Melissa; brothers Rutis, Marshall and Roland (Zella); sons Curtis (Sandy) and Scott (Tracey), Terence Bay; Grandchildren Jessica (Matt) and Tiffany. Melvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with family and friends. He also enjoyed going to church every Sunday with his grandchildren Jessica and Tiffany. A church service will be held on Friday September 18 at 1pm at St. Pauls Anglican Church in Terence Bay. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Arborstone for making him feel at home; you guys were truly angels without the wings. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to St. Pauls Anglican Church fund.
