Obituary of Louise Y. (Coffin) Crowell

78, Bridgetown, formerly of Halifax, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Clementsport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Vera (Ross) Dexter. Louise is survived by her husband, Donald, Bridgetown; sons, Steve Coffin, Halifax, Jim (Linda) and Eric Coffin, both of St. Catherines, ON; daughters, Debbie Thompson and Robin (Paul) Sawler, both of Halifax, Marlen (Roger) Robert, Quebec and Sandra Brookfield, Dartmouth; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas (Yvette) Stark, 100 Mile House, BC, and Louis Dexter, Weymouth; sister, Lorraine Ward, Digby. She was predeceased by her first husband, Eric Coffin. Special thanks to the nursing staff of the Valley Regional Hospital, ICU, for their compassionate care and support. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a service of remembrance will be held on Monday, September 28, at 1 PM, with a reception to follow.
