Obituary of Partick Carmen Casey

Age 54, Halifax, passed away October 7, 2015, in the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Canso, he was a son of Patrick and Louise (Bond) Casey, Port Felix. Carmen was an avid hunter and loved his cottage in Cheticamp, four wheeling with his cousins from the U.S. and many of his friends from the area. As well as his parents, he is survived by his wife, Denise Johnston; sister, Joanne Deal (Stephen), Halifax; many aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held Sunday, October 11 from 7-9 p.m. Carmen will then be transported to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Port Felix, where visitation will be held Monday, October 12 from 7-9 p.m. and funeral mass on Tuesday, October 13 at 11a.m., Father Dan MacDonald as celebrant. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church or to the parish cemetery.
