Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Hickey

Age 79, of Halifax, passed away on October 30, 2015 at Northwood Manor. Although Marie was from Sambro, she called Northwood Manor her home for the last eight years. She was a good woman who loved camping in her younger years and then enjoyed a good game of bingo and cards in her later years. Marie is survived by her sons James Hickey (Betty-Ann), Norman Marnier (Linda); daughters Colleen Stewart, Margaret Hickey (Wade Harnish); brothers Roderick and Joseph Boudreau; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James Hickey and son Kenneth. Marie will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her family. The family would like to extend many thanks to the staff of Northwood Manor. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) ltd, Halifax, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 1pm. Reception to follow.
