Obituary of Joan I. Dowling

Dowling, Joan I.:  77, Halifax, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII.  Born in Meaghers Grant, NS, she was a daughter of the late James and Marguerite (Colford) Dunbrack.  Joan is survived by her sons, Blair and Kevin, sisters, Beverly Latter (Jimmy) and Christeen Riley (Wilfred), grandson, Shane, and a granddaughter, Shawna.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, sister, Shirley Goertzen, and brothers, James and Wayne. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (902.477.5601).  A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  Donations in memory of Joan may be made to the charity of one's choice.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
