Obituary of Muriel Beatrice Miller (Norman)

Age 87, Halifax, passed away November 14, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in L’Ardoise, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Briand) Norman. Muriel retired from the Hydrographic Dept. of the HMCS dockyard after 18 years. She is survived by her son, Bob Miller; daughters, Linda Miller and Gail Miller-Dixon; grandchildren, Tammy Dixon, Ashley Rose Miller and Kyle Robert Miller; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Archibald; sisters, Marion Kovacs, Doreen Paquette and Emily Grandy and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. As per Muriel’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 18 at 11 a.m. from the Gate Of Heaven Cemetery Lower Sackville.
