Obituary of Theresa Mary Gale

Age 73, of Newfoundland, passed away December 6, 2015 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in South Brook, Newfoundland on April 24, 1942, she was a daughter of the late John and Bertha (Young) Earle. Theresa had a big heart and was loved by all she came into contact with. She was always up for a game of cards or bingo and enjoyed the occasional scratch ticket. She will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.   Theresa is survived by her husband of 54 years Michael Joseph Gale; daughters Elizabeth (John) Benoit, Theresa Gale (Jamie Hunt), Michelle (John) Gale-Kennedy; son Brent (Janice) Gale; sisters Kathleen, Nellie, Liz, Pauline, Monica, Meg, Stella and Girly; brothers Edmond, Donnie and Andrew; grandchildren Vanessa (Jason Poulton) Benoit, Katrina (Ronald) Martin, Katlynn Kennedy, Israel Hunt, Morgan Hunt, Dylan Gale, Luckus Kennedy and John-Michael Kennedy; grand children Cooper and Brody as well as many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her parents John and Bertha; son Leonard; brothers Walter and Kenneth.   Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax where a visitation will take place on Wednesday December 9 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
