Obituary of Walter George "Wally" Betts

Betts, Walter George "Wally"- Age 67, of Halifax, passed away December 11, 2015 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary site. Born on December 10, 1948, he was a son of the late Walter and Marion (Hurley) Betts. Wally is survived by his sisters Linda Hartling (George), Spryfield, Irene MacDonald (Donald), Lower Sackville, Judy (Tommy), Spryfield, Karen Weeks (Gordy), Halifax; brothers Jimmy Betts, Dartmouth, Gary Betts (Trudy), Lower Sackville, Mike Betts (Diane) Herring Cove, Barry Betts (Kim), Armdale as well as many nieces and nephews. Wally was predeceased by his parents and brother Jeff. The family would like to extend a special thanks the staff of the QEII floor 8.2 for their excellent care given to Wally as well as the staff of Arborstone Enhanced Care for looking after Wally over the years.  Arrangements are under the care of  J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. A celebration of life will be held on Monday December 21 at 11am. Rev. Russel Saulnier officiating. Reception to follow.
