Obituary of Raymond Goodwin Smith

Age 87, of Purcell’s Cove, passed away January 18, 2016 at his home. Born in Ferguson’s Cove, Nova Scotia on September 12, 1928, Raymond was the son of the late Gordon and Florence (Downey) Smith. Raymond was survived by his sons Perry Smith (Pam), Tim, Tony and Graham (Dianne); daughter Bernice (Paul) Levy; sister Gloria Naugle; grand daughters Kathy and Michelle. Raymond was pre deceased by wife Shirley Smith (Peters); grandson Joey; brothers Garnet, Jack, Kenneth and sister Bernice. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker funeral Home (2005) Ltd., Halifax.As per request there will be no visitation or service. Burial to take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
