Obituary of Gerald Thomas Gallant

The family would like to announce the passing of Gerald of Halifax at the age of 60. Born in Halifax on December 20, 1955 he was a son of Leonard and Doris (Lawrence) Gallant. Gerald is survived by his mother Doris; sister Doris Walsh; brothers Edward, David and William. Gerald was predeceased by his father Leonard and his brother Leonard. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a visitation will take place Sunday January 24 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday January 25 at 11am from St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Spryfield. Reception to follow. Burial to take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery after the reception. Donations can be made to the family.
