Obituary of Marie M. Kennedy

76, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2016, with her family by her side. Born in Ile Perrot, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Cheng Dang and Grace Kathleen (Smith) Yue.  Marie was a one of a kind lady. She loved her family and lived life to the fullest. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed music and had a fond affection for animals. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Marie is survived by her husband, Ron Prime; son, Christopher (Cathy), Halifax and daughter, Karen Kennedy, Toronto; grandchildren, Thomas and Jessica. Maisie as she was called by family and friends, is also survived by sisters, Gladys (David Shupe), Halifax and Pearl (Permod Kaushal), Richmond, BC; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands, Leonard Kennedy and Kenneth Chapman; sons, Craig and Paul Kennedy; brothers, Anthony and Monty. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, February 15 at 1:30 PM in Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home, 2080 Windsor Street, Halifax, followed by a reception.
