Obituary of John Wayne Jamieson

Age 67, of Halifax, passed away on February 9, 2016 at Parkstone Enhanced Care. Born in Kingston, Ontario on January 31, 1949, he was a son of the late John and Mary Lucille (Willis) Jamieson. Wayne is survived by his sister Amber Maureen, of Toronto and nephew Daniel, of Montreal. Wayne will be missed by close friends John and Donna Fawcett as well as his cousin Larry Wilkinson. One  favorite pastime of his was the hunting trips with his buddies, many of whom Wayne worked with over his 32 years at Canada Post, from where he retired in 2007.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Parkstone Enhanced Care for their care and compassion while Wayne was a resident. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a celebration of life will take place onMonday February 15, 2016 from 1-3pm with word of remembrance at 2pm. Donations can be made to the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Nova Scotia or a charity of ones choice.
