Obituary of Earl Kitchener Mitchell

Age 93 Spryfield , passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18th ,2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Port au Bras , Newfoundland . He was a son of the late Fred and Violet ( Piercey ) Mitchell.   Earl will lovingly be remembered and never forgotten by his son, Kenneth (Janet); grandchildren Jonathan, Jana , Shawn (Denine) ,Glen (Lenore), Jodie ( Chris ) ; great grandchildren Kevin , Marlee , Katelyn , Noah , Madison. He was predeceased by wife Mary; son Bert; brothers, Matt , Amos and Leonard. Special thanks to Doctors and Staff of QEII, 8.2 for there kindness and care. Also the staff of Walkers funeral home for their kindness and support .    Arrangements are in care of J Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005 )Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road Spryfield .Visitation will be held on Friday February 26th 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday February 29th at 2pm in Emmanuel Anglican Church followed by a reception in the church hall.Interment will take place at a later date in the spring. Donations in Earl's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
