Obituary of William Edward "Bill" "Hun" Mantley
Age 82, of Halifax, passed away March 3, 2016 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. Born in Africville on November 18, 1933, Bill was the husband of Pauline (Lee) Mantley.
Bill worked for the Halifax School Board until he retired. He was famous for the cleanest van in Spryfield, where for a small fee, he would take you anywhere you needed. Bill was always on the go and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
He is survived by his only son William "Boo" Mantley (Cathy); his "best buddy" grandson Diaz Mantley, and his many friends. Bill will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring cove road where a visitation will take place tomorrow, Tuesday March 8 from 2-4pm. Donations can be made to the heart and stroke foundation of Canada.
