Obituary of Valerie Lynn Al-Molky

44, Nine Mile River, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of David and Johanna Al-Molky. Valerie attended East Hants Rural High School prior to attending Community College. She was raised in Nine Mile River, N.S. and settled there with her husband after the birth of her first son. She raised 3 beautiful children while serving her community. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Curlew; sons, Dylan, Joshua and Morgan Curlew; brother, Daryl (Angela) Al-Molky; nephew, Kaden and niece Amber Al-Molky; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where a service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Following the funeral there will be a celebration of her life at the Nine Mile River Community Centre from 2pm - 4 pm. All are welcome, dress will be casual. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
