Yard sales were another pastime not for the gems mom would find but for the people she met. Mom loved winters inFlorida. After dad's passing mom reinvented herself and joined various senior clubs and traveled to many places inNova Scotia with the senior bus tours. She also hosted suppers and bingo games for her senior friends. Mom was a great cook her specialties were pan fried haddock, boiled dinner and roast pork.
