Obituary of Christopher Scott Mitchell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Scott Mitchell at the age of 33, in his home in Mink Cove, DigbyCounty on May 25th, 2016. Chris lived life to the fullest; he enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, music and most of all spending time with his daughter, family and friends. Anyone that knew him would say he was quite the jokester and loved to make people laugh. Christopher is survived by his precious daughter, Zoey Marie; his loving mother, Judy Ayres Mitchell (Gary); his brother, Shawn (Chelsy);  his sister, Emily (Jarrett);  niece, Chloe; grandmothers, Mildred Ayers and Violet Mitchell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, "Joe" Stanley Joseph Mitchell; grandfathers, Harold Ayres and Stanley Mitchell. A private grave side service will be held for his family in Lower Sackville on June 1st, 2016. A Celebration of Chris’ life will be held at the Sandy Cove Fire Hall from 11 AM -12 PM on June 11th.  For friends and family who wish to attend and to follow there will be a beach party at Sandy Cove Beach, DigbyCounty.
