Obituary of Trevor D. Hanna

Hanna, Trevor Dwane:  38, Halifax passed away on May 29, 2016.  Born in Halifax on January 26, 1978, he was a son of Eddie and Susan (Marriott) Hanna.  Trevor was a loving and kind individual who had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile. He attended J.L.IlsleyHigh School, where he played hockey on the school team.  He also played hockey with the Chebucto Minor Hockey League.   Trevor enjoyed his many hunting and fishing trips with his dad, and was always up to challenging his friends to a game of pool.  He loved to travel, following the sunshine and sandy beaches.  Trevor "lived life to the fullest".  Besides his parents, Trevor leaves behind his two beautiful children, Tristen and Zöe; his sister, Jennifer Hartling (Jason); his nieces, Rylee, Baleigh and Shawnee; his nephew, JT, as well as his partner, Nadine and her children, Trenton and Taralee; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Trevor was predeceased by his partner, Jessica Tilley, his maternal grandparents, Jim and Norma (Baker) Marriott; and his paternal grandparents, Tom and Mabel (MacDonald) Hanna.   Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (902.477.5601), where visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 7-9 PM.  A funeral service in memory of Trevor will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2 PM from Emmanuel Anglican Church, 322 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, followed by interment at Emmanuel Anglican Church Cemetery, Sussex Street, Spryfield, NS.  A reception will follow at the Spryfield Legion, all are welcome.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "In Trust for Trevor Hanna’s Children" Trust Fund, c/o Scotiabank, 7171 Chebucto Road, Halifax, NSB3L 1N5 (902.420.4962).  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
