Obituary of Muriel Claire Dawson

Age 63, Halifax, after a lengthy illness passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on June 9, 2016. Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Loretta (Cromwell) Dawson. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Gina); brothers, Robert (BettyAnne), Ottawa, Ont.; James (Irmeli), Montreal, Que.; Richard, Alta.; sisters, Shelia (Livingston), North Carolina; Jackie, Loretta, both of Halifax; Ethel, Toronto, Ont.; Agnes (Gerald) Dartmouth; grandchildren, Marques, Jacob, Autumn; great granddaughter, Claire; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held today June 14 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday June 15 at 2p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Father Albert Cosgrove as celebrant. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the ALS Society or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
