Obituary of Carol Jemima Marshall

Absent from the body, present with the Lord. As a believer Carol went home to be with the Lord June 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Carol was predeceased by husband Frank; infant son Peter and parents Frank and Inez (MacDonald) Huestis. Loving mother of Carol Ann (Frank) Gorham; Frankie (Trena nee Fraser) Marshall; Marty (Ted) Verburg; Jackie (Bruce) Ward; Jeannie (Grant) Mah; Randy (Kendra nee Williams) Marshall; Beth (Paul) Whyte; Sally (Ian) MacNearney. Loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren; loving great grandmother to 37 great grandchildren; Loving great great grandmother to 5 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the warm and caring staff at the Magnolia Continuing Care Community in Enfield. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Funeral service will be held at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Oakfield, Nova Scotia, Monday June 20, 2016 at 1pm followed by a reception at Grand Lake Community Hall in Grand Lake. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, The Magnolia Continuing Care Community Recreation Department or St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Oakfield.   Ecclesiastes 3: 1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under Heaven.
