Obituary of Harold K. "Harry" Moore

"Harry Munster", "Papa Shango", "Pops", "Grandad" – 76, Sackville, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Mildred (Haley) Moore. Harold had worked for Roy Judges Construction, Daigle Lumber and eventually retired from the Head Office of NSLC. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He will lovingly be remembered by his sons, Allen (Brenda), Scott (Barbie) both of Sackville and Jason (Heidi), Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Jacob, Zackary, Hanna, Ayden and Katie; brothers, Walter (Claire) and Richard (Betty), both of Sackville. He was predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Patricia; sister, Christine; brothers, Ronnie and Charles "Bubby". A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 11AM, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery where Harold will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Patsy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
