Obituary of Mary J. McCrae

64, Spryfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2016 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Poirierville, she was a daughter of the late Pious and Mary (Poirier) Petitpas. Mary had a heart of gold. She loved her family and friends, she would do anything for anyone. Mary loved animals, cooking and music. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary is survived by her daughter, Tammy McCrae; grandsons, Colton and Cody Morash; ex husband, Allan McCrae; sisters, Alexina Petitpas, Theresa Gillie, Eve Macdonald, Julie Forbes and Leona Bourdgas; brothers, Andrew and Freddie Petitpas. She was predeceased by siblings, Muriel Nicholson, Margaret Richard, Joseph and Louis Petitpas. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, September 2 at 4 PM in the funeral home chapel.
