Obituary of Roberta Mary "Bobbie" Pugh (Power)

Age 67, Herring Cove, passed away November 23, 2016, after her short but courageous battle of cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Winnifred Power. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Bobbie is survived by son, Michael Kirby (Kathy); daughter, Belinda Kirby (Timmy); grandchildren, Alissa (Mike), Mikey, Cailin, Megan (Jordan) and Karli, all of New Glasgow; sisters, Bernice, Alice (Murray); brother, Darrell (Janet), all of Herring Cove; four nieces, ten nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph in infancy, Gary and sister Donna. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. As per Bobbies wishes, there will be no visitation. Private family graveside service. Reception for Bobbies friends and family will be Monday November 28, between 10:30a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church Hall Hebridean Dr., Herring Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow or a charity of ones choice.
