Obituary of Geary Charles Giles

Age 67, Halifax, passed away peacefully January 13, 2017 at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Catherine (Burke) Giles. He is survived by son, Steven, Halifax; daughter, Terri-Lynn, British Columbia; brother, John; sisters, Catherine Giles, Charleen Whitehead, all of Halifax; grandchildren, Amy, John and Braedyn; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Phillip. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A celebration of Geary’s life will be held on Saturday January 21 at the Fairview Legion Branch 142, 50 Hillcrest St. from 6-10 p.m.. Interment to take place at a later date.
