Obituary of Marion A. Crosby

Crosby, Marion Alice:  83, Halifax passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax, NS.  Born in Tantallon, NS, she was a daughter of the late John and Amanda (Deal) Redmond.  Throughout her life, Marion dedicated herself to her family.  Her family was her entire world.  She loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by her sons, Darrell (Valerie), Dartmouth, John (Norine), Blairmore, AB, David (Laura), Timberlea, her daughters, Janice Bradshaw (John), Elkford, BC, Nancy Slaunwhite, Timberlea, and Christine Chan (Jonathan), Bradenton, Florida, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as her brothers, Lawrence and Donald, her sister, Lois Laprise and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, Eric J. in 2007, and brothers, Edward and Vernon. By request, cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (902.477.5601), where a memorial celebration of Marion’s life will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11 AM.  Interment will take place at a later date in Sunrise Park Inter-Faith Cemetery.  Family flowers only, in lieu donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
