Obituary of Margaret A. Marriott

82, formerly of Timberlea, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Irene Morrissey. Margaret was employed for many years at the French Pastry. She was a great cook and loved entertaining family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ronald; children, Gregory and Mary; grandchildren, Ronnie, Margaret, Sean and Christopher; 4 great grandchildren; former daughter in-law, Patsy and former son in-law, Jerry; brother, Louis; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Edwin; granddaughter, Rebecca; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29 from 10 – 11 AM, followed by a Service of Remembrance in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM; with a reception to follow. Interment will take place in St. Peters Cemetery, Dartmouth. Family flowers only, donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
