Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Jollimore

Age 73 of Stewiacke, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep with her loving husband by her side. Born May 3, 1945 in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Painting and Mary Howard (Green).

Marie loved her home in Stewiacke where she enjoyed knitting and cared for the wildlife at her door step. She enjoyed spending all her time with her husband, whether it was working in the yard or special occasions with the family. She is survived by her husband and best friend, Vincent of fifty five years. Marie has five loving children, Carol (Warner) Baxter, her only son Vincent Sidney Jollimore, Jeannie (Kevin) Innocent, Delores (Tim) Rose and Theresa Jollimore (John). She has eight grandchildren, Blair, Warner, (Baxter), Michelle, Jason Jollimore, Kevin (Innocent) Travis, Taylor (Rose) and predeceased by Shawna ( Jollimore). She also has thirteen great grandchildren, Mason, Michael, Mikayle, Marissa, Coady , Riley, Myles, Lucas, Julian, Kai, Axl, Colton, Weston. She is survived by sisters and brothers, Alex (Marilyn), William (Barb), Jimmy (Carol), sisters, Carol (Dave); half siblings, Tim, Tina and Terri. She was predeceased by her brother, Herbert (Thelma), Reginald, John at infancy, sister, Breanda (Larry).

Arrangements are under the care of J. albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday May 29 at 1pm.
