Obituary of Mildred Regina Roache

82, Halifax, passed away on June 18, 2018 at Arborstone Enhanced Care.

She is a daughter of Laura Clyke (Pelley) and the late Phillip Clyke. Mildred enjoyed knitting and crocheting socks, blankets, gloves, and dish cloths. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and had a passion for dancing.

She is survived by her mother, Laura Clyke (Pelley); sons, James, Paul, Peter, Phillip all of Halifax; her first husband, Roy James Borden; brothers, Bert (Stella), Dave, Wade (Wilma), Lloyd; sisters, Maryanne, and Gloria (Timmy) Ashe. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Phillip Clyke; second husband, John Roache; daughter, Carolyn MacCarthy; brother, John; brother-in-law, Vernon Skinner.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., where a service of remembrance will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at 11am from the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place following the service at Oakridge Memorial Gardens in Middle Sackville, NS.
