Obituary of Suzanne Joanne Juliette Gault

Of Halifax, passed away on Thursday August 23, 2018. Sue was the oldest daughter of the late Donald and Georgette (Turgeon) Tanney, both of Timmins Ontario. She was the oldest of three brothers and two sisters.

She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Tanney in 2016. She is survived by her husband, Steve Gault; her siblings, Brian and Betty Tanney, Mark Tanney, Colleen De Carlis and Beverly McNely. Son, Raymond Charbonneau and sister, Carole McNaughton; also many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her battle with liver cancer had its ups and downs, but she never gave up or gave in. She was a positive person and tried to do as much good in this world as she could. Sue was an active Algonquin and Ojibwa Aboriginal in both her daily life and beliefs. Her Aboriginal Card Readings gave her great peace in helping someone in need or teaching the ways of the people.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or service. Interment to take place at a later date.
