Obituary of Jean Lorraine Forhan

Age 96 of Halifax passed away peacefully August 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Northwood’s Ivany Place.  She was a daughter of the late Robert and Matilda (Harnish) Doubleday.  Over the years Jean loved to be outdoors especially going out fishing or attending to her garden.  She also had a passion for dancing, you could always find her and her husband John dancing.  She is survived by her son, Robert (Peggy/Mary); daughter, Dale (Donald); grandchildren Cheryl, Scott, Sandi, Troy and Shaun; brothers, Carl and Clarence; sisters, Geraldine, Eleanor, Lorraine and Carol.  She was predeceased by her loving husband John Forhan; baby John in infancy; grandson Robert; brother Clifford; baby sibling in infancy; sisters Doris, Margaret, Eileen and Betty.  Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd 149 Herring Cove Road. In keeping with Jeans wishes there will be no visitation. A Service of Remembrance will take place Friday August 31, 2018 at 11AM in the funeral home chapel.  Following the service, the burial will take place at Camp Hill Cemetery.
