Obituary of Stephen Foster Burke

Of Halifax, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018, surrounded by his family at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Phillip and the late Lorraine (Romans) Burke.

Stephen was an avid camper for over 30 years at Whispering Winds, he enjoyed his campfires, playing crib, loved dancing, horseshoes and spending time with his campground friends. He is survived by his father, Phillip; brother, David (Darlene); sister, Debbie (Wade) and nephews, Shawn and Jason. He was predeceased by brother, Bernie.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a visitation will be held Friday September 14 from 12-1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment to take place in the Gate Of Heaven Cemetery Lower Sackville.
