Obituary of Anne Marie McDonald

McDonald, Anne Marie (SAM), Age 71 of Halifax passed away surrounded by her family September 1, 2018. She was a daughter of the late John Edward and Florence (Lye) Keefe. Anne Marie’s professional career spanned nearly 40 years in various human services roles. Her focus was to look to find the best in others and to help them find success, she impacted many people positively, both clients with whom she worked and co-workers. She is survived by her sons, Matthew (Lisa Taggart) McDonald, Brookfield, NS, Michael (Kate) Moon, Halifax, NS, Daniel (Anna MacLean) McDonald, Dartmouth, NS; grandchildren Tula Rostkowska, Noah McCallum, Broden VanTassell, Rigby VanTassell, Xiphi Marie Mira Moon and Seamus Joseph McDonald; brother Doug (Julie) Keefe. In following with Anne Marie’s wishes there will be no visitation. A service will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Halifax at 6:30 p.m on Friday September 14, 2018 with a reception to follow. A private family burial will be at a later date.
